About Daniel Chapman, MSW, LSW
Daniel Chapman, LSW, is a Licensed Social Worker in the state of Pennsylvania who earned both his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in social work from Millersville University. With nearly two decades of experience, Dan has worked with children, adolescents, and adults across mental health, substance use, and criminal justice systems, bringing a grounded and real-world approach to therapy.
At Collaborative Mental Wellness (CMW), Dan is committed to providing culturally responsive, client-centered care that honors each individual’s background, lived experiences, and identity. He understands that healing does not happen in isolation—it is shaped by family systems, community, culture, and life circumstances. Dan creates a space where clients feel seen, respected, and safe to show up as their authentic selves.
His clinical approach integrates evidence-based practices, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), mindfulness, and strength-based interventions. He works collaboratively with clients to build insight, develop effective coping strategies, and foster long-term emotional resilience.
Dan specializes in anger management, anxiety, depression, trauma, and grief and loss. He is passionate about helping individuals move from survival mode to a place of clarity, empowerment, and intentional growth.
In alignment with CMW’s mission—“Together, We Empower Wellness and Resilience”—Dan believes that meaningful change happens when clients feel supported, understood, and equipped with the tools to navigate life on their own terms.
